They say it takes 10,000 hours, or 10 years of consistent and deliberate practice to become an expert at one’s craft. This is the core belief behind Brooklyn Sway – a music collective and record label formed to provide a platform for local NYC artists, dj’s, and producers who bow to the predecessors that shaped music today. The common thread behind our artists is friendship, passion, and dedication to keeping the purity of a craft that, in many ways, counters the digital explosion.

Our mission is to inspire the lives of folks on the dancefloor, one track at a time and mostly through vinyl – all carefully produced and selected – to create positive vibrations.
