WHO: HOSTS DAVID & MOHAMMAD
WHEN: TUESDAY (BI-WEEKLY) 8PM – 10PM
WHAT: Ham-dam is the Persian phrase for sharing the same breath. It’s taking the moment between one another and shedding off the same adversity or settling into the same grudge of a fist fight. The piecing together of same or similar techniques to create one outgoing breath of work is the idea behind this program. Chaperone (Bedouin Records, Enmossed) and Saint Abdullah (Imprec, Psychic Liberation) use the radio platform as the studio session environment, playing records for one another as inspiration, sharing new work that has yet to see release, and improvising live electronics. On bi-monthly Tuesday nights, the collective will work from the cuff to make original sound while also inviting those from the sound art, poetry, performance art, and electronic music scenes to participate in a salon-style practice. Please join us and breathe along.
